Mission and Ministry Home

Minister Health

To develop and implement strategies and processes needed to sustain and support healthy congregational ministers, and to provide and or facilitate support and care.

Andrew comments, “Having served in a number of different congregations I am aware that ministering to a specific congregation and community in general has many blessings and privileges. However, there can also be many associated professional and personal challenges. Therefore, it is vital that women and men are helped and empowered in ministry to be all they can be as they serve the Lord.”

As a result of these intentions we seek to make available a number of resources such as…

  • General care ...
  • Peer support ...
  • A professional development process ...
  • Social activities ...
  • Retired ministers gathering ...
  • Exit interview process.

Update March 2013

Professional Development (PDP) continues to roll out. It is hoped that by the end of 2013 all ministers will have attended an information session for PDP.  For those who have attended, can I encourage you to send in your Professional Plan ASAP.  We continue to work in collaboration with BUV and ACOM to share seminar resources.

As you continue to serve the Lord may His peace and grace be greatly upon you.
